Description
An organically grown, naturally pulped, washed and dried bean, cultivated by many micro-lot growers in the Rwenzori Mountains of Western Uganda and processed at the Nyabirongo station. These micro-lots sell their ripe coffee cherry to Agri Evolve. Agri Evolve do great work in the Rwenzori mountains, and with their ACE 2030 initiative, aim to make a great positive impact on the lives of the Ugandan people.
These beans are roasted in-house to produce a coffee with a full-bodied mouth-feel and flavours of sweet honey, boozy figs and hints of orange.
Similarly to all our coffee here at Duffin’s, it is a Direct and Fair Trade product; we buy it at well above the World Trade and Seasonally Agreed price to ensure that the produces get a guaranteed annual income, regardless of price fluctuations.
