Description
Peruvian, Tunki
An organically grown, naturally pulped, washed and patio dried bean, cultivated by the Aymara & Quechua indigenous peoples in the Tambopta Valley of Southern Peru. Roasted in-house to perfection to accent the beautifully chocolately body blended with cream and almonds, with mild hints of red berry and orange citrus and a delightful velvety finish.
Similarly to all our coffee here at Duffin’s, it is a Direct and Fair Trade product; we buy it at well above the World Trade and Seasonally Agreed price to ensure that the produces get a guaranteed annual income, regardless of price fluctuations.
Fun Fact; the name “Tunki” is derived from the Tunki bird found high in the Peruvian Andes and is the national bird of Peru!
