Description

Suukala is grown in the Municipality of Inca in Cauca, situated high on a plateau called Macizo Colombiano. At more than 2000 masl it is the perfect conditions to grow and develop complex and full bodied flavours within coffee beans.

The Asorcafe Association was founded in 2003 and has 290 members. Asorcafe supports farmers to produce speciality coffee, whilst enhancing their economic and social conditions which inturn benefits their families and communities. The farmers have small plots of land, up to 2 ha which they plant with a variety of arabica coffee plants such as caturra, bourbon and castillo.

Suukala is full bodied, with dark fruit notes of Cherry and Blackberry, as well as the sweetness of toffee and dark chocolate. As filter, it had added notes of nuts and praline, and presents a smooth mouthfeel.
